ALTA/ACSM survey
ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys meet the requirements of the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and National Society of Professional Surveyors (a member of American Congress on Surveying and Mapping) for the purpose of supplying the title company and lender with the information necessary for issuing American Land Title Association or Extended Coverage Title insurance.
This survey shows the relationship of existing improvements such as buildings, utilities, fences and sidewalks relative to the boundaries as defined by the vesting deed. ALTA surveys incorporate elements of boundary surveys, mortgage surveys and sometimes topographic surveys.
