Grading plan design
The purpose of grading is to control surface runoff, minimize soil erosion (during and after construction) and provide suitable topography for building.
A good grading plan will result in a more desirable and less costly development.
A grading plan will show finished elevations, cuts, fills, environmentally sensitive areas and also erosion control measures.
